Recap: 9/1/17 - Rick Week and Beyond

I always get really inspired during "Rick Week"!

So a really significant event occurred last week.  No, I'm not talking about the solar eclipse.  I'm talking about the 68th Birthday of my favorite songwriter, performer and muse, Mr. Rick Springfield.

I was inspired to create a few things to celebrate this occassion, mainly a new chalkboard mural, which you can see and read about on my I Believe In Art Blog by clicking here.

I also did a little musical tribute by making this video of me performing my rendition of "Jessie's Girl":

Of course, eventually what I call "Rick Week" came to an end and I had to get back to my not exactly normal life.  This started on Monday when I published a new "I Believe In Artists" interview with a talented artist named Adam Baranello.  Click here to see his art and read his answers to my questions on The I Believe In Art Blog.

I did accomplish a few other things this week but before I could do that I found that I needed to figure out what I wasn't going to get done.  I did this by updating what I call my "Let Go" list.  You can read more about that on The Cabbage blog by clicking here

I will tell you here that at the top of the list of the tasks I'm letting go right now is gardening.  However, I did wander out to The Cabbage Gardens to take a few photos this week.  As you can see, they are getting along just fine without my help.

Some photos I took of The Cabbage Gardens this week

Okay, this is the part where I share my list of social media sites again, just in case you want to see what else I've been up to:

I'm not always good about telling people about these blog posts so be sure to check back for another update in two weeks or, better yet, click here to subscribe by e-mail.

Thanks so much for reading and feel free to leave questions, suggestions or just say hello in the comments below.

Till next time, I wish you peace, love and creativity,
